After the Bath (nudity)

Hi,
for this model the composition is based on one of my favorite William bouguereau paintings.. It shows a woman taking a thorn out of her foot after bathing. For a change of pace I decided I didn't want to copy the painting but rather interpret it into a sculpture. I deliberately changed her to have more ""scolpturesque" features and porpotions.

Hi,

this is a model I've been working on for a while. It's based on one of my favorite paintings by Jean Augustie Ingres... I really wanted to study the expression in the face and the tension in the pose. Also I wanted the challenge of imagining what he would look like from all angles..

I used xsi to model the basemsh and render.. zbrush for the hires modeling and texturing

C&C welcome

Here is a link to some other angles of the face:
I then recomped her into the scene using textures and traditional lighting with no projections so she can be fully realised from any angle.

A harsh sun light penetrates the moody saloon on a dull afternoon somewhere in the west.
I used only traditional lighting to light up the scene.
